The good news is that we made it through snow day with out any major outbreaks and the day went fairly quickly.
The bad news is, (well, it's not really that bad, it just makes an interesting title), that in order to have fun, the kids need to make a mess of things sometimes.
So, the good news on that is that they were having a blast together and playing imaginatively and interactively.
The bad news is that every cushion (8 total) on the furniture was off and blankets were everywhere to make forts, little furniture was brought in from the cold play room into the living room to make for an art table & baby got a hold of the box of markers and spread them everywhere (it's a box with probably 40-50 markers in it). This was in a 10 minute span.
To end on a positive note, the good news is that when all of the cushions are off, it makes it really easy to vacuum out all of the crumbs & we find pieces to toys we've been looking for, not to mention lots of pencils & crayons.
