I realized when putting together Noah's 1 year baby book that I never took pictures of him eating and destroying his first birthday cake. In my defense, a year ago he wouldn't have eaten it anyways and wouldn't have liked touching it either. He still doesn't like getting messy. He insisted on eating this cupcake with a utensil. He was actually more interested in the candle and getting us to light it over and over so he could continually blow it out. I think Daddy (or as Noah calls him, "Ma Ma"), ate most of the cupcake while Noah mastered his candle-extinguishing and delighting in the smoke that arose from it.
(He calls me "Mom" in case you're wondering...)
