Patience is...

As I have said before, having children is part of my virtuous training, so here are a few things that have been a push on my "patience button".

-Grass stain removal- 7 year old boy and his pants (EVERY PAIR!) as well as some shirts. It's a guarantee that the knees will be covered, but don't forget to check the rear end & hips. This takes patience because of the fact that you can't just sort & dump, it requires CSI investigative skills at times.

-Nose wiping-just when you think you've gotten one taken care of, someone else gets a runny nose...myself included!

-Feeding a 9 month old-did you know that one slice of a banana has to be sliced into 9 tiny pieces & that it takes 15-20 minutes to get that down?

This one doesn't relate to the kids, but is a new one that I am adding in lieu of Jason's encounter this morning...sitting down for 3 1/2 hours in "conversation" with Jehovah's Witnesses over at Seth & Teresa's. Those JW's have some crazy ideas & really don't care to understand your side at all. My patience is tested and I wasn't even there!
